Top 5 for Boespflug in California Sprint Week

Plainfield, IN - A trip to his home state of California filled the void in the AMSOIL USAC National Schedule for Chad Boespflug. The USAC/CRA California Sprint Week six race stint in the Alan Kaiser #69 Maxim Chassis was a good opportunity for Boespflug to race with some of the competition he will face at the end of the USAC National season during the Western Worlds and the Oval Nationals. Boespflug and Kaiser traveled over 600 miles to compete at five different venues beginning with the Louie Vermeil Classic two day event at Calistoga Speedway. Followed by a stop at Petaluma Speedway, Silver Dollar Speedway, Ocean Speedway, before finishing the week at Keller Auto Speedway in Boespflug's home town of Hanford, CA. Two podiums and three top 5's earned Boespflug and the 69 Team a 5th place finish in overall USAC/CRA California Sprint Week Points.

"We had a good week going we were tied with Bernal for third in CSW points going into the final night at Hanford, but mechanical failure ended our night early and we slipped back to fifth. I am happy with the week we had though with two podiums, a fifth, and an eleventh. I have to thank Alan Kaiser for having me the entire week and and providing me with the
opportunity to compete in the full week. I am looking forward to working with him in the future when the opportunity presents itself. It was a fun week being able to reconnect with fans, friends, and family back home, but I am looking forward to returning to the 98e this weekend." - Chad Boespflug reflects on his trip to California.

Fresh off a top 5 in USAC/CRA California Sprint Week points Boespflug returns to Indiana for the Jim Hurtubise Classic & Haubstadt Hustler. Friday Boespflug and his NineEight Motorsports / EZR Team return to USAC National competition after being off for a few weeks. They will make the trip to the Terre Haute Action Track Friday and then head south to Tri-State Speedway Saturday. They return to both venues for the first time since Indiana Sprint Week. With just three USAC National races remaining in Indiana Boespflug hopes to capitalize and pick up a win in Indiana to add to his already five victory's that have all come on the road this season.
